Stewart’s working relationship with Debbie Isitt started on scripted ITV series Love and Marriage. He then used improvisation for her unique devising process on Nativity 3 Dude Where’s my donkey and they’ve just collaborated again on Christmas on Mistletoe Farm for Netflix released in 2022. Writers Mark Bussell and Justin Sbresni met Stewart when they cast him in their sitcom I Want my Wife Back for BBC One and then again on Housebound their lockdown online comedy.
