Jungle Crows

Stewart’s’ experience filming Jungle Cry in Bhubaneswar combined three of his passions; Rugby, acting and India. His connection with Paul Walsh MBE who he played in the film, and his interest in Paul’s rugby project in Kolkata, has led to him becoming an Ambassador for Jungle Crows . He’s delighted to have helped encourage a partnership between them and Bristol Bears in his home town. If you would like to support or help raise the profile of the work Jungle Crows do please don’t hesitate get in touch.

Bristol School of Acting

Stewart is creating and leading the Comedy Module for third year BA Acting for Screen students. BSA is the UK’s first ever degree level programme dedicated to actor training focussed on the camera and microphone mediums.

Playwork

Stewart took a break from the peripatetic lifestyle of acting in around 2004 when he was commissioned to write radio shows. In this period he trained as a playworker, which led to him working at a range of inner city youth settings in his home town of Bristol including Windmill Hill City Farm and Felix Road Adventure playgrounds and for Playbus at Traveller and Romany Gypsy sites. For anyone whose curious, this is why his Instagram account is playworkdad, as this experience is now mainly channeled towards his two boys.

Sarah Howard

Stewart collaborated with Sarah Howard to develop a video for annual health checks for people with learning disabilities, commissioned by the CCG (Clinical Commissioning Group).  The video is for people with LD, to encourage them to take up the annual health checks.
